Another Great Handmade Expo Market

Well, the March Handmade Expo has been and gone and what a great day had by all. The steam train rides were full, the Turf Club was full, everyone's tummies were full (with yummy bacon and egg burgers, coffee, cupcakes and more yummy gourmet fresh food) - what more fun could someone have for a day!!!

We also had Micky and Leisha promoting the Handmade Expo and Handmade Heaven... in the Ipswich City Mall at the Lifestyle & Hobby Expo.. promoting, promoting, promoting. Sending everyone down to the Turf Club to experience the biggest and best quality handmade only market in town... and what a great response we had.

So many customers that came to our table told us "we have just come from there"... so that was good to hear and put a smile on our faces.

We were also at the Ipswich City Mall today as well - being a 2 day event, we couldn't pass up the opportunity to put the Handmade Expo Market and Handmade Heaven on the Ipswich map.. so there you have it... 2 days of Expo and Heaven this weekend.

We also have to put a big shout out to Mayor Paul Pisasale who also mentioned us on Saturday morning to the ever growing crowd in the mall, also a great promotion for the Expo knowing that Paul and the Council support us 110%. So thankyou., And thanks to Ally at River 94.9 for the live crosses as well !

So everyone, the next expo is on Saturday 17th April, same time, same place... see you there :)

(Thanks for the text Micky, I am way too tired to compile this ! )

Let us know your Handmade Expo Market experience, we love to hear all the great feedback. Also thanks to all our fab Face Book fans who are coming in droves to see what we do, you are beautiful people and we appreciate your support.

I haven't forgot you boys !

The nature of the beast with vintage chenille, is that there are way more girl colours than boy colours. Not my fault, cant help it, just the way it is..
So whenever I can, I try to get boy colours.
I have this one coming to my mailbox soon and will take orders as this will go quickly!

Yes it is Navy with yellow pops and is going to be sensational made into boys pants, size 1 - 5.

In the mean time I have been using chocolate brown for this Saturdays Handmade Expo Market.

All pants are $25 and if you are needing postage add $4. A selection is always available in Handmade Heaven as well.

Hope you can make it to the market on this Saturday, enjoy a ride on the Qld Rail Pioneer Steam Train, Half hour rides will leave from the market throughout the day, just check times and get you tickets at the entrance to The Handmade Expo.

There is a huge range of "to die for " handmade goods, sewing, food, plants, cards, accessories, woodwork, jewellery and so much more.

Funky clothes featured on website

Wow, trying to smell the roses but at the moment too busy ! Know what I mean ?
I got word this morning that I can now go ahead and use some really great , awesome photos of some of my bubba clothes used in a shoot for "agoo" a company selling funky leg warmers for little ones. I'd love for you to check it out,
Here are some of the pics ...

I love the way these photos look and the combos with my pants, The photographer used to sell my items in her shop but is going back to Photography full time. She is just in the process of building her website so I'll let you know when that is up and running, Think kids and think very cute !

So rather than being seasonal, I think this way of wearing bubbachenille takes my clothes through the whole year !

Now back to sewing for The Handmade Expo Market this Saturday at the Ipswich Turf Club, Brisbane Rd, Bundamba, 8 am - 2 pm. Dont forget the Steam Train will be running throughout the day also. Up to 100 stalls of all Handmade !

Special Chenille

I found this lovely bedspread on ebay ages and ages ago and I first though it would be a keeper ( AKA do not cut this it is too beautiful ! ).

Instead I decided I needed something new in my range, It's a bit heavy and rough for girls clothing so here's what I have done with it,

debuting at The Apple and Grape Festival in Stanthorpe on the weekend.

TA DAH....

Mothers Day maybe ? or filled with eggs for Easter ?
